Colchester United want to extend Fulham man Sylvester Jasper’s loan

Fulham winger on loan Sylvester Jasper has impressed on loan at Colchester United in Ligue 2 this season, and the U are now considering extending his loan deal.

Jasper joined the U on a short-term loan deal in August, which means the winger’s deal with the League Two club will go into effect in January.

The 20-year-old has made three senior appearances for his parent club, Fulham, and secured his first loan from his childhood club to seek more playing time this summer.

Jasper has been a breath of fresh air since joining and shows why he is a real asset to the team, which sit in 19th place as they look to avoid relegation at the end of the season.

The delicate winger has made 23 appearances for Colchester United, scoring three goals and assisting once.

However, goal contributions are not a concern for the League Two side as the gifted player achieves majestic performances for the Us with that awesome goal being the clip of the peloton.

It would be a huge flaw if Colchester United didn’t even try to keep their lender.

But according to the Gazette, the U have had preliminary talks with Fulham about extending Jasper’s loan deal, which could keep him at the club for the entirety of this season.

But it won’t be surprising that clubs higher in the Ligue 2 table or in higher divisions keep an eye on the winger, as recognition rates will be high due to recent impressive postings.

Not only will he be recognized nationally, but he will be known internationally to some as well, as Jasper made his Bulgaria U21 debut against Netherlands U21 last month, followed closely by a second appearance.
